Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our Service. Last updated April 23, 2026.

Eligibility

The Service is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • You are not barred from using the Service under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately suspend or terminate their account and delete associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service is currently available to users in the United States and India. Availability in other territories will be communicated separately.

Account Registration

To access the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Keep your registration information up to date.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any other person.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at info@edirq.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

2.1 Third-Party Login (SSO)

You may register using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. By using a third-party login service, you authorize us to access certain information from your provider account in accordance with the permissions you grant. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party login providers.

2.2 One Account Per Person

You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban, or for any other reason, is prohibited.

2.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain account security.

User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of the content you create and post on Re, including text posts, comments, photos, videos, stories, and direct messages ("User Content").

3.2 License to Edirq

By posting User Content, you grant Edirq Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, distribute, modify, and create derivative works of your User Content, strictly as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

3.3 Your Representations

By posting User Content, you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to post the content and grant the license above, your content does not infringe any third-party rights, and your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3.4 Public Nature of Content

Posts, profiles, and certain other content on Re may be publicly visible, shareable, and indexable by search engines unless you configure your account settings to limit visibility. Stories are ephemeral but may be captured or shared by other users during their display period.

Interactions Between Users

Re supports direct messages (DMs), follows, reposts, and comments. By using these features, you agree to interact respectfully, not use DMs for spam or harassment, and not follow or message users in a manner that constitutes stalking. Re does not monitor private DMs in real time but may review reported messages to enforce these Terms.

Prohibited Conduct

Harm and Harassment

No harassment, threats, bullying, stalking, intimidation, incitement to violence, defamation, or intentionally misleading content.

Sexual Content and Nudity

No pornographic or sexually explicit content. No non-consensual intimate images — will be reported to law enforcement. No content that sexually exploits, grooms, or harms minors — will be reported immediately to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement.

Self-Harm and Suicide

No content that glorifies, encourages, or provides methods for self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. Crisis resources: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988, US) | iCall (+91 9152987821, India).

Drugs, Alcohol, and Controlled Substances

No content facilitating illegal sale or distribution of controlled substances, or soliciting sale of alcohol or tobacco to users.

Hate Speech and Extremism

No content promoting hatred or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. No terrorist content.

Identity and Deception

No impersonation, false affiliation with Edirq, or multiple accounts.

Platform Integrity

No bots, scrapers, security bypass, reverse-engineering, malware, or service disruption. Accounts detected engaging in scraping or bot activity will be permanently banned without warning.

Commercial and Spam

No unauthorized commercial solicitation, pyramid schemes, unsolicited bulk messages, or account sales.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and/or law enforcement referral.

User Safety Tools

6.1 Reporting

Report any post, comment, DM, story, or profile directly in-app. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team using automated systems and human review.

6.2 Blocking

Block any user from their profile or a message thread. Blocked users cannot view your profile, posts, or stories, or send you DMs. Existing follows are removed. The blocked user is not notified. Manage via Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users.

6.3 Muting

Mute any user to stop seeing their content in your feed without blocking or notifying them.

6.4 Restricting DMs

Control who can send you DMs via Settings > Privacy > Direct Messages. Limit to users you follow or disable entirely.

Content Moderation and Appeals

7.1 Moderation Actions

We may remove, restrict, or label content, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Certain categories (including CSAM, terrorism, and credible threats of violence) will result in immediate termination and referral to relevant authorities.

7.2 Notice and Appeals

When we take a moderation action, we will notify you with the reason (where practicable) and provide an opportunity to appeal at info@edirq.com or via the in-app appeal mechanism. We will review your appeal in good faith and communicate our decision within a reasonable timeframe.

7.3 Transparency

We publish periodic Transparency Reports describing our moderation activity.

Intellectual Property

8.1 Our IP

The Service and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Edirq Inc. or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

8.2 DMCA

Copyright infringement notices to info@edirq.com or Edirq Inc., 3031 Tisch Way, 110 Plaza West, San Jose, CA 95128, USA. Notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the infringing material; your contact information; a good-faith belief statement; a statement confirming accuracy and authority; and your physical or electronic signature. Repeat infringers' accounts will be terminated.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, availability, or terms. Use at your own risk.

Developer Access and APIs

Any automated or programmatic access requires our prior written permission and is governed by a separate Developer Agreement. Unauthorized automated access may result in immediate termination and legal action.

Account Suspension and Termination

12.1 By You

Delete your account via Settings > Account > Delete My Account or by emailing info@edirq.com.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Terminated users may not create new accounts without express written permission.

12.3 Effect

Upon termination, access ceases immediately. Sections 3.2, 7, 12, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. Exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDIRQ INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) TOTAL AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS; OR (B) USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edirq Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

California, USA law, without conflict-of-law provisions, and without prejudice to mandatory rights under your country of residence's laws.

16.2 Informal Resolution

Contact info@edirq.com first. We have 30 days to attempt informal resolution.

16.3 Binding Arbitration

Unresolved disputes go to final and binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Santa Clara County, California, conducted in English.

16.4 Class Action Waiver

Both parties waive the right to participate in class actions, collective actions, or jury trials where permitted by law.

16.5 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court or bring eligible claims in small claims court.

16.6 India

Nothing limits Indian users' rights to approach competent courts for interim relief, or rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or IT Act 2000.

Changes to These Terms

For material changes, we will notify you via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date.

General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Edirq Inc.
  • Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect remaining provisions.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights without our written consent. We may assign freely, with notice.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
